Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithms for complex computational problems
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in developing quantum hardware-software interfaces
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and industry whitepapers
- Secure federal and private research grants totaling $2M+ annually
- Develop quantum-safe cybersecurity protocols for enterprise clients
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers and PhD candidates
- Collaborate with NASA, IBM, and MIT on quantum-space exploration projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (2020-2026 graduates preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing experience with IBM Q or Google Quantum AI
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and error correction techniques
- Published research in Nature/Science/Physical Review journals
- Proficiency in Q#, Qiskit, or Cirq programming frameworks
- Strong background in topological quantum computing
