Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-classical hybrid computing solutions
- Collaborate with academic partners to publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science
- Optimize quantum error correction protocols for scalable fault-tolerant systems
- Translate theoretical models into deployable quantum software frameworks
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum methodologies and architectures
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory and experimental physics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Computational Mathematics
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum annealing or superconducting qubits
- Expertise in Python/C++ with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals or conferences
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance principles
- Experience with high-performance computing environments and HPC optimization
