Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to identify strategic opportunities and threats for 2026 market landscape
- Develop and maintain comprehensive foresight frameworks using scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align organizational strategy with future disruption vectors
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable roadmaps for product development and market entry
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and narrative frameworks
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Mentor junior strategists while fostering a culture of innovation and future literacy
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or equivalent field; PhD preferred
- Minimum 8 years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role at Fortune 500 or tech startup
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and disruption forecasting methodologies
- Deep technical understanding of emerging technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight (white papers, books, keynotes)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful implementation of future-focused strategies
