Responsibilities
- Design and deploy scalable quantum network architectures supporting 100+ qubit systems
- Develop cryogenic cooling solutions for quantum processors operating at millikelvin temperatures
- Implement quantum error correction protocols achieving <10^-9 error rates
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing interfaces for enterprise applications
- Create quantum security frameworks resistant to future cryptographic threats
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Establish industry standards for quantum interoperability and benchmarking
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field (MS with 8+ years experience)
- Proven expertise in quantum hardware design and cryogenic systems
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum networking
- Experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, or Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms and complexity theory
- Certification in quantum security protocols (QKD, QKD+) preferred
- Track record of scaling distributed computing systems to petabyte scale
- Experience with semiconductor fabrication processes
