Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable, fault-tolerant AI systems capable of processing petabytes of data in real-time.
- Lead the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle, from data ingestion and feature engineering to model training, validation, and deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Research, Data Science) to define technical roadmaps and translate business requirements into architectural solutions.
- Drive innovation in MLOps practices, implementing CI/CD pipelines for models and ensuring reproducibility and version control.
- Mentor junior engineers and senior architects, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and performance profiling to optimize inference latency and resource utilization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field; Master’s or PhD preferred.
- 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years specifically focused on AI/ML architecture.
- Deep expertise in Python, C++, or Java, with strong proficiency in deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX).
- Extensive experience designing distributed systems and high-throughput microservices.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with model serving platforms (TorchServe, TensorFlow Serving) and edge deployment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
