Responsibilities
- System Architecture: Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant microservices using modern cloud-native technologies.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize database queries, API response times, and system throughput to ensure sub-millisecond latency.
- CI/CD Implementation: Develop and maintain robust Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines using GitOps practices.
- Collaboration: Partner with frontend developers and product managers to define technical requirements and API contracts.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce security best practices, conduct code reviews, and ensure compliance with industry standards (SOC2, GDPR).
- Technical Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architectural decision-making processes.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a focus on backend systems.
- Languages: Strong proficiency in Python, Go, or Rust.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Deep experience with AWS or Azure, including EC2, Lambda, S3, and RDS.
- Containerization: Expert knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for orchestration and deployment.
- Databases: Experience with both SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems issues under pressure.
