Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate resilience) to forecast disruptive opportunities through 2026
- Develop and implement corporate innovation frameworks, including horizon scanning and scenario planning
- Lead high-impact R&D initiatives in emerging domains (quantum computing, neuro interfaces, synthetic biology)
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready technologies into commercial roadmaps
- Design and facilitate strategic foresight workshops for executive stakeholders and industry partners
- Publish thought leadership on the future of work, sustainability, and human augmentation
- Build and mentor an internal innovation lab focused on prototyping next-gen solutions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or futurism with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech
- Proven track record of translating future insights into commercialized products or services
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting to executive audiences and boards
- Published author or keynote speaker on future-focused topics (e.g., TED, WEF, MIT Media Lab)
- Experience building and scaling innovation ecosystems within large organizations
