Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead scenario planning workshops for C-suite executives and key stakeholders
- Prototype and test emerging tech solutions (AI, quantum, biotech convergence)
- Present strategic foresight insights to investors and board members
- Mentor junior futurists and build cross-functional innovation pipelines
- Publish whitepapers and speak at global tech conferences
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech R&D
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic concepts
- Expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Strong background in systems thinking and complex adaptive systems
- Credible thought leadership (published research, conference keynotes)
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ breakthrough innovations
