Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026+ foresight framework using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Produce strategic whitepapers and executive briefings on disruptive technologies (AI ethics, quantum computing, neurotech)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align departments on future-ready initiatives
- Establish KPIs for tracking emerging market opportunities and competitive threats
- Manage relationships with academic institutions and think tanks for trend validation
- Present quarterly future-state assessments to the board of directors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning or innovation roles with Fortune 500 experience
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies and societal trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategy
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level experience
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS) or equivalent
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-state implementations
