Responsibilities
- Architect Hybrid Solutions: Design and implement scalable quantum-classical algorithms optimized for NISQ (Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum) devices, ensuring readiness for deployment in 2026.
- Algorithm Development: Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning tasks.
- Hardware Integration: Collaborate closely with quantum hardware teams to translate theoretical models into practical, error-corrected software solutions.
- System Performance: Analyze system bottlenecks and optimize quantum circuit depth to maximize qubit coherence times.
- Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and rigorous technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on quantum computing.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 3 years specifically in quantum computing, machine learning, or high-performance computing.
- Tools: Proficiency in Python (Cirq, Qiskit, PyQuil) or C++/CUDA for quantum simulation.
- Mathematical Proficiency: Strong understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and complex systems.
