Responsibilities
- Architect and oversee the end-to-end IT infrastructure strategy for the 2026 Winter Games, including cloud migration and edge computing solutions.
- Lead a cross-functional team of engineers to implement real-time data processing systems for live scoring and athlete tracking.
- Ensure enterprise-grade cybersecurity protocols are in place to protect sensitive athlete data and organizational assets.
- Optimize network performance to handle peak traffic loads during opening and closing ceremonies.
- Collaborate with vendors to integrate IoT devices for stadium management and fan engagement.
- Establish disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, cloud computing, or IT infrastructure management.
- Expert knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with a focus on large-scale deployments.
- Strong proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture.
- Experience working on large-scale public events or government infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of leading high-performance teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
