Responsibilities
- Picking and Packing: Accurately select and prepare orders for shipment using warehouse management systems.
- Inventory Management: Assist with cycle counts, stock organization, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate powered industrial trucks (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) and hand trucks as required.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure all packaging meets company and customer standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Load Preparation: Safely load and unload trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED: Preferred, but not strictly required for entry-level positions.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling merchandise and data entry.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Reliability: A history of consistent attendance and punctuality.
