Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations during off-peak hours to ensure maximum efficiency and throughput.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and resolve stock discrepancies promptly.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and compliance standards to maintain a secure working environment.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates, fostering a culture of accountability.
- Operate heavy machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks, in adherence to all operational guidelines.
- Coordinate with day shift management to ensure seamless workflow transitions and accurate documentation.
- Conduct daily quality assurance checks on incoming and outgoing shipments.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Proven experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management preferred.
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) is highly desirable.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer applications.
