Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute weekend events including food tours, festivals, and pop-up experiences
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure seamless on-site operations
- Lead small groups (max 15 participants) with engaging storytelling
- Handle ticketing, payments, and customer inquiries during events
- Collect and implement participant feedback for continuous improvement
- Collaborate with marketing team to promote weekend experiences
- Maintain safety protocols and emergency procedures at all venues
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year event coordination or hospitality experience
- Exceptional communication and public speaking skills
- Weekend availability (Saturdays/Sundays, 8am-8pm)
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- Proficiency with event management software (e.g., Eventbrite)
- Deep knowledge of Austin attractions, restaurants, and culture
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods in outdoor settings
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred
