Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun) in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures with precision and compassion
- Monitor patient vitals, document observations, and escalate concerns to the medical team
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care plans and ensure seamless weekend handovers
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and infection control protocols
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during weekend care hours
- Participate in weekend staff training and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current RN or LPN license in Pennsylvania (or compact license)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in acute care or specialty unit
- BLS/CPR certification with valid ACLS preferred
- Proven ability to work independently during weekend coverage
- Strong documentation skills and EMR proficiency (Epic experience a plus)
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
- Associate's degree or higher in nursing/healthcare field
