Job Summary:
The Logistics Coordinator will oversee daily warehouse operations, manage inventory, and ensure the timely distribution of goods. This role is critical in maintaining our reputation for reliability in the logistics industry.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels and perform regular stock counts and audits.
- Communicate with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to resolve shipping discrepancies.
- Process shipping documents, bills of lading, and tracking information accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist in training new staff members on warehouse procedures and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management (1+ years preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) on a full-time basis.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management software (WMS) is a plus.
