Responsibilities
- Deliver specialized weekend health tech services including vital monitoring, medication administration, and patient assessments
- Coordinate seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care across weekend shifts
- Maintain precise documentation in EMR systems with 100% compliance to HIPAA regulations
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism and evidence-based interventions
- Implement weekend-specific care protocols for high-acuity patients
- Conduct equipment calibration and quality assurance checks during weekend shifts
- Mentor weekend staff on emerging healthcare technologies and best practices
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Health Technology or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 2+ years clinical experience with weekend shift or 24/7 environment exposure
- Current Minnesota Health Tech certification and CPR/BLS credentials
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems and telehealth platforms
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to dynamic weekend workflow patterns
- Exceptional crisis management and rapid decision-making skills
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends with guaranteed schedule predictability
