Responsibilities
- Assist registered nurses with patient care procedures including vital sign monitoring and specimen collection
- Coordinate patient flow through examination rooms and treatment areasMaintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Provide compassionate support to patients and their families
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (CNA certification preferred)
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer proficiency with EMR systems
- Flexibility to work occasional holidays as needed
