Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and medical procedures
- Perform vital sign measurements and basic lab tests
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms with sterile equipment
- Manage patient records and schedule appointments
- Administer medications and injections under physician supervision
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
- Handle insurance verification and billing documentation
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- 1+ years of clinical experience in outpatient setting
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday 7AM-7PM)
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance
- Strong communication and multitasking abilities
- Current CPR certification
