Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vitals measurement, injections, and wound dressing
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Manage inventory and sterilization of medical equipment
- Coordinate patient education and discharge planning
- Triage patient calls and schedule appointments efficiently
- Collaborate with healthcare team for seamless patient flow
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Weekend availability mandatory (Saturday/Sunday 7AM-7PM)
