Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
- Assist providers with clinical procedures and examinations
- Administer medications and vaccines under supervision
- Maintain accurate electronic health records
- Handle patient scheduling and phone triage
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and infection control protocols
- Coordinate with on-call physicians and nursing staff
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Strong weekend availability (required Sat/Sun)
- Proficiency with EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Tennessee state license (if applicable)
