As a Weekend Medical Assistant, you'll work exclusively Saturdays and Sundays in our state-of-the-art facility, ensuring seamless operations while maintaining the highest standards of patient care. Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Perform vital sign measurements and document patient information accurately
- Prepare examination rooms and maintain medical supplies inventory
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Process laboratory specimens and perform basic diagnostic tests
- Manage patient flow and schedule coordination during weekend shifts
- Utilize EHR systems for precise documentation and communication
- Provide exceptional patient education and support services
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a healthcare setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or NextGen preferred)
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Flexibility to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday) 8am-6pm
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety standards
