Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care activities during weekend and overnight shifts
- Monitor patient status and escalate critical issues to on-call physicians
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and emergency protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for continuity of care
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and hospital regulations
- Support new staff onboarding during shift transitions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year healthcare or clinical support experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficient in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Flexible weekend availability (Sat/Sun shifts)
- High school diploma or equivalent (degree preferred)
