Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and medical conditions
- Administer prescribed medications under physician supervision
- Collaborate with nurses and physicians on patient care plans
- Maintain accurate patient records and electronic health documentation
- Ensure patient safety and infection control protocols are followed
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
Qualifications
- Current CNA or EMT certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in hospital or long-term care setting
- Ability to work rotating weekend shifts (Sat/Sun) and overnight hours
- Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Proficient with electronic medical record systems
