Responsibilities
- Monitor premises and deter criminal activity through visible patrols and surveillance systems
- Respond promptly to security breaches, medical emergencies, and facility alarms
- Document incidents and maintain detailed activity logs using digital reporting tools
- Verify visitor credentials and enforce access control procedures for residential/commercial sites
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services during critical incidents
- Conduct routine equipment checks to ensure optimal functionality of security systems
- Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff during patrols
Qualifications
- Valid California Guard Card and current CPR/First Aid certification
- Minimum 1 year experience in security, law enforcement, or related field
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods during 8-12 hour shifts
- Proficient in using surveillance cameras, radios, and reporting software
- Strong conflict resolution skills and de-escalation techniques
- Reliable transportation to various Los Angeles locations
- Must pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Availability for weekend shifts (Fri-Sun) between 6 PM - 6 AM
