Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems to move inventory.
- Load and Unload Freight: Manage the receipt and dispatch of goods with precision and speed during peak night hours.
- Inventory Management: Conduct accurate stock counts and ensure all warehouse stock is organized and labeled correctly.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies to maintain a secure working environment.
- Packaging and Labeling: Properly package items for shipment and apply correct shipping labels and documentation.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the morning shift team to ensure a seamless transition and operational continuity.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work Weekends (Saturday & Sunday) and Night Shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but we provide paid training for motivated candidates.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy regarding inventory counts and shipping documentation.
- Reliability: Consistent attendance and punctuality are required.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
