Responsibilities
- Oversee Daily Operations: Manage all warehouse and logistics activities during weekend shifts to ensure timely processing of orders and inventory.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of warehouse associates, conducting shift briefings and performance evaluations.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and manage receiving and shipping procedures to maintain accuracy.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety standards and company protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in weekend workflows and implement solutions to increase productivity and reduce errors.
- Communication: Liaise with the weekday management team to coordinate priorities and ensure seamless handovers.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in logistics, warehousing, or operations management; experience in a leadership role is preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours exclusively on weekends (Saturday & Sunday).
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or certification in supply chain management is a plus.
- Skills: Proficient in warehouse management software (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and navigate various warehouse environments.
