Responsibilities
- Supervise Weekend Operations: Oversee daily logistics activities, including receiving, sorting, and dispatching packages to ensure timely delivery.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and manage inventory discrepancies to maintain accuracy.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a small team of warehouse associates during weekend shifts, ensuring safety protocols and productivity targets are met.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or errors, ensuring high standards of quality.
- Reporting: Generate and review weekend shift reports, analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure forklifts and other equipment are maintained and safe for operation during shift hours.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff and management.
- Technical Proficiency: Basic computer skills and familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or inventory software.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and dependability.
