Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers warmly, answering inquiries about products and services.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Organize merchandise on shelves and displays to ensure a tidy and appealing store layout.
- Handle cash and credit payments with strict adherence to security and accuracy protocols.
- Monitor inventory levels and report stock shortages or damages to management.
- Collaborate with the team to execute visual merchandising initiatives and store promotions.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe shopping environment for all customers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be available to work weekends, specifically Saturdays and Sundays.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling.
