Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient appointments and care pathways across weekend shifts
- Manage electronic health records with precision and confidentiality
- Facilitate seamless communication between patients, families, and medical teams
- Handle insurance verification and billing documentation accurately
- Assist in weekend patient intake and discharge processes
- Collaborate with on-call physicians for urgent care coordination
- Maintain HIPAA compliance in all patient interactions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year healthcare administrative or patient care experience
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic experience preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree preferred)
