Responsibilities
- Manage patient intake, scheduling, and electronic health records (EHR) systems with precision
- Coordinate weekend triage, ensuring urgent cases receive immediate attention
- Assist providers with clinical documentation and patient education materials
- Handle insurance verification and billing inquiries with exceptional customer service
- Maintain HIPAA compliance while managing confidential patient information
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless weekend operations
- Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction scores
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years healthcare administration or medical assisting experience
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or Cerner preferred)
- Current CPR/BLS certification from accredited provider
- Exceptional communication skills with demonstrated conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments while maintaining accuracy
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in healthcare field preferred
- Availability to work every Saturday and Sunday without exception
