Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vitals monitoring and specimen collection
- Assist with patient intake and electronic health record documentation
- Coordinate with physicians and nursing staff for seamless weekend care delivery
- Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and medical equipment
- Deliver warm, patient-centered communication to weekend visitors
- Handle emergency response protocols and triage procedures
- Support weekend patient education and discharge planning
Qualifications
- Current California CMA or Phlebotomy certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- BLS/CPR certification (AHA preferred)
- Proficiency with Epic EHR systems
- Exceptional interpersonal and de-escalation skills
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Spanish bilingualism strongly preferred
- Availability for every Saturday/Sunday rotation
