Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun) in high-need medical settings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Coordinate with on-call physicians and specialists for urgent cases
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current California RN or LVN license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in acute care or emergency settings
- Valid BLS/CPR certification; ACLS preferred
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Flexibility to cover rotating weekend shifts (6AM-6PM)
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems
