Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and wound care
- Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living
- Maintain accurate patient records and electronic health documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure coordinated treatment plans
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Support patient education and discharge planning processes
Qualifications
- Current Texas Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or equivalent medical certification
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems
