Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient intake and discharge procedures during weekend shifts
- Monitor vital signs and administer routine medications under physician guidance
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Collaborate with on-call physicians and emergency response teams
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and safety protocol adherence
- Support weekend facility operations including inventory management
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and discharge instructions
Qualifications
- Current Kansas CNA or EMT certification required
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience in acute/skilled setting
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and documentation systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid BLS/CPR certification
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Flexibility to work alternating weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
- Basic computer proficiency with EMR systems
