Responsibilities
- Oversee weekend warehouse operations including inventory management, order fulfillment, and quality control
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery of client shipments
- Implement process improvements to optimize weekend workflow efficiency
- Train and mentor weekend staff on safety protocols and operational procedures
- Generate weekend performance reports and recommend corrective actions
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules and supply replenishment
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics, warehousing, or operations management
- Proven experience managing weekend or shift-based teams
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Excellent problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities
- Valid Michigan driver's license (required for facility tours)
