Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and medication administration
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Maintain clean and organized patient environments following safety protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Update patient records accurately and in a timely manner
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current Pennsylvania Nursing Assistant certification (CNA) preferred
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience preferred
- Flexibility to work alternating Saturdays and Sundays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic computer skills for documentation
- Valid CPR certification or willingness to obtain
