Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and personal assistance
- Assist with daily living activities and mobility support for elderly and disabled patients
- Document patient observations and care activities accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations
- Participate in weekend shift team meetings and training sessions
Qualifications
- Current Colorado CNA certification or equivalent healthcare credentials
- Minimum 1 year experience in assisted living or home healthcare setting
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team during weekends
- Strong communication skills and compassion for elderly patients
- Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays (6am-6pm shifts)
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation tasks
