Responsibilities
- Assist providers with patient intake and documentation
- Administer basic clinical procedures under supervision
- Maintain sterile exam environments and inventory
- Coordinate patient flow and appointment scheduling
- Handle insurance verification and billing inquiries
- Provide compassionate patient education and support
- Collaborate with cross-functional healthcare teams
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current BLS/CPR certification mandatory
- Minimum 1 year clinical support experience
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility with weekend and holiday scheduling
- Proficient with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Tennessee healthcare assistant certification preferred
