Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Lead all daily operations during weekend shifts to ensure maximum efficiency, throughput, and quality control.
- Team Leadership: Mentor, coach, and manage a diverse team of 15+ operational staff members, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and internal safety regulations to maintain a zero-accident work environment.
- Process Optimization: Analyze operational metrics and identify areas for improvement to streamline workflows and reduce operational costs.
- Coordination: Collaborate with the Weekday management team to ensure seamless handover of processes and inventory accuracy.
- Problem Solving: Resolve complex operational issues and customer escalations in real-time to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations management or supervisory roles within a logistics or manufacturing environment.
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work rotating weekends and flexible shifts as required.
- Skills: Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills with a proven track record of meeting KPIs.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory software, and MS Office Suite.
