Responsibilities
- Oversee daily weekend operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to safety protocols
- Manage team of 8-12 warehouse associates, providing guidance and support
- Coordinate inventory management and logistics activities during peak weekend hours
- Implement process improvements to enhance weekend shift productivity
- Conduct regular safety inspections and maintain compliance with OSHA standards
- Prepare shift reports and communicate operational updates to management team
- Train and mentor new weekend team members on company procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in logistics or warehouse operations
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage diverse teams
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making under pressure
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays with weekday availability for meetings
- Proficient in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
