Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence: Safely and efficiently process inbound and outbound shipments, verifying accuracy of all inventory against packing lists.
- Equipment Handling: Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and handheld scanners, ensuring all safety protocols are strictly followed.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock levels and organize warehouse storage areas to maximize efficiency and safety.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming goods for damage or defects and report discrepancies immediately to the shift supervisor.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the weekday shift team to ensure a smooth handover of duties and operational continuity.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or inventory management role is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Availability: Must be available to work exclusively on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as required by the business.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Driver's License: Valid California Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and comfort using handheld scanning devices.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
