Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks and delivery vehicles using appropriate equipment.
- Inventory Management: Verify and inspect incoming shipments for damages and accuracy.
- Packing & Shipping: Accurately pack orders, label packages, and prepare them for distribution.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Equipment Operation: Operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and hand trucks efficiently.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a secure workplace.
- Customer Support: Assist in answering inquiries regarding order status and shipping details.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Schedule: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Transportation: Reliable personal transportation is required to commute to the Milwaukee facility.
- Skills: Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not mandatory for immediate hire candidates.
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
