Responsibilities
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Assist in the receiving, sorting, and staging of inventory with a focus on accuracy and speed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to 5S methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily throughput targets and strict deadlines.
- Perform regular quality control checks on outgoing shipments to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Update inventory management systems using handheld scanners and computer terminals.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods on concrete surfaces.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all operational protocols.
- Basic computer literacy and aptitude for learning new software quickly.
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and occasional holidays.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
