Responsibilities
- Supervise weekend warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Train and mentor 5-8 weekend team members on safety protocols and efficiency standards
- Coordinate with weekday managers for seamless handover and process optimization
- Conduct daily quality checks and ensure OSHA compliance across all activities
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for weekend workflow efficiency
- Manage weekend inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Lead weekend safety drills and emergency response procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse or logistics management experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong leadership skills with proven team development experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment (forklift certification preferred)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays with occasional holiday coverage
