Responsibilities
- Oversee Daily Operations: Manage and coordinate all weekend warehouse activities, ensuring timely processing of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Inventory Management: Conduct cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies to maintain accurate stock levels using the WMS.
- Team Leadership: Supervise a small team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, feedback, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage or quality issues and initiate return or repair processes as needed.
- Data Entry & Reporting: Update logistics software with shipment status, labor hours, and operational metrics to keep management informed.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety regulations and OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for all staff.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Associates.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with the ability to track multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with cross-functional teams.
