Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks and freight containers using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inventory Management: Accurately scan, sort, and organize incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Packing & Shipping: Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper packaging to prevent damage.
- Stock Organization: Maintain accurate stock levels and organize warehouse aisles for efficiency.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance checks on warehouse equipment and report issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- License: Valid Driver's License required; Forklift certification is a plus.
