Responsibilities
- Perform efficient loading and unloading of freight trucks and trailers using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and organize stock in designated warehouse zones.
- Ensure all safety protocols and OSHA regulations are strictly followed during operations.
- Inspect and report damaged goods or equipment to the shift supervisor immediately.
- Operate handheld scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline packing and shipping processes.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with handheld scanners.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) for full-time hours.
