As a Weekend Operations Associate, you will ensure that our supply chain remains seamless during critical weekend hours, handling everything from inventory management to final shipping preparations.
Responsibilities
- Picking and Packing: Accurately select and package orders to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and handheld scanners.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular stock counts and maintain accurate inventory records within the warehouse system.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing merchandise for damage or defects and report discrepancies immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team leads and colleagues to meet daily productivity and throughput goals.
- Load Preparation: Prepare pallets and containers for shipping, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) on a recurring basis.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently. Physical stamina is essential for this role.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a strong plus, but we provide on-the-job training for motivated candidates.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is preferred.
- Attitude: A strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and a positive work ethic.
