Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring accuracy and speed.
- Inventory Management: Utilize barcode scanners to verify stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Stock Organization: Sort, pack, and organize merchandise in designated areas to optimize warehouse flow.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming shipments for damage and ensure outgoing orders meet quality standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and warehouse protocols at all times.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues to supervisors.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required (training provided).
- Reliability: Must have a reliable method of transportation and be punctual.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends, including holidays, as business needs dictate.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
